Student Reflections
This page is provided for my students to write their reflective thoughts as they journey through the brain fitness program. The following are some reflections:
"I am not keen on the animation as it is an interruption of the session. I guess it gives attendees a break. My theme is the colors as there are no animation involved. I tried the people theme and it becomes digitalized before the full photo is shown. That is hard on the eyes to view. I don't get frustrated by the program. I deal with frustration by calming myself before speaking out loud. Some traffic in auto lanes frustrates me, but i get where I'm going even though it takes longer than planned. The program is like physical exercise in the brain. One goes over the routine time and time again. I don't mind coming every day because I want to finish the class. I'm very fortunate that I can take it when I can.

"I have seldom used the Reflective Journaling namely because I have been disappointed with my slow progress, especially in the "Sound Replay" and the "Listen and Do." So far, my brain has been unable to handle more than four words or sequences. Nevertheless, I realize the importance of "plugging along." One of these days, hopefully soon, the light switch in my brain will light up!" - Annie Sakamoto
"I handle background noise and distractions by staying calm and focused if I am not able to eliminate them."
- Toni Hennig
"The aspects of the classroom I would like to change is increase the length of time in this class. I feel that we don't have enough time to do the programs every time we come in. We barely get started and it's time to leave."
